Overview
With over 15 years of E.M.S. experience, Steve Lilly has the right background to deliver the goods as owner-operator of Advanced Safety Paramedics (A.S.P.).
A.S.P. has grown steadily since its inception in 2002. Now serving the Prairies, the Peace Country, Fort McMurray, and parts of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec, A.S.P. utilizes EMT-Paramedics (ALS), EMT-A, EMR, and Occupational First Aid Attendants meeting the requirements of OFA III and EMP Canada; and abides by the guidelines set by WCB - BC, Alberta OH&S First Aid, and the Alberta College of Paramedics. With up-to-date, standards-based policies and practices, A.S.P. is prepared to offer the most complete industrial medical safety service available in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Responsible
Our approach is responsible and accountable: All A.S.P.'s Alberta-registered EMR, EMT, and EMT-Paramedics are provided medical direction by an emergency physician; and ambulance personnel are provided regulation via medical audit and medical direction through the Alberta College of Paramedics.
This accountable professionalism is reflected in our medical records audit. A patient care report is generated for each person treated. This report is examined for proper care and treatment, then forwarded to our Medical Director for review. The report will be filed and stored among our company's medical records.
With this comprehensive process, we are able to ensure proper patient care, assess medic skills, and further evaluate common practices in a way that continually raises the bar for future care.
Mobile
Our Mobile Treatment Centres (MTC) each can accommodate two patients lying down. They are fully equipped for emergency care, including a sink for irrigation, and Basic Life Support equipment. Our trucks are Diesel (1 tonne), and have multiple means of communication on board, including two-way mounted radio and cell phone and satellite accessories.
We believe in roll bar technology and support compliance. All our mobile treatment centres are manufactured with roll bar protection.
Experienced and Safe
We are fully equipped to ensure you have a safe and secure work site. To augment the safety dimension, we also have licensed security guard staff through our sister company, High Prairie Security. We have provided safety and security services to more than forty oil, gas, and seismic companies over the past four years.
